Summer 2026 - Join the wave!

Growing up in North Carolina, I was constantly surrounded by bodies of water. Whether it be the pool, lake, ponds or beach, my parents knew the importance of taking me to swim lessons. I was immediately a water bug. However, as I became an adult, I personally realized how important of a life lesson being able to swim was. I valued the fact that it was natural to me. At the age of 14, I wanted to follow in my older cousin Cerissa's foot steps and become a lifeguard. However, as a lifeguard it became abundantly clear how passionate I was about the pool industry. Since then I have taught swim lessons to children, special needs and adults, worked as a Certified Pool Operator for several pool companies as a certified Wake County CPO and insuring pool safety and chemicals were up to standard. I was a Lifeguard, Head Guard and Pool Manager for several local pools. After saving a child's life after a near drowning episode at a local pool, I placed my focus on insuring "one less drowning." It is a passion of mine to continue teaching so that others will have fun but also see the value of learning how to swim and provide confidence while doing so.
